He was arrested on May 26, 2022, by the Collin County, Texas Sheriff’s Office, according to police records, XXL Magazine confirmed.

Law enforcement officers apprehended Yella Beezy for charges stemming from sexual assault and child endangerment allegations.

Speaking of rapper arrests, hip-hop artist Paper Lovee has been arrested by Atlanta police for his alleged involvement in a supermarket shooting. Another rapper, SpotemGottem, also came under the radar of the Dallas Police Department in August 2021 for his alleged connection to a homicide. Other hip hop artists like Polo G, Bandman Kevo and 9lokkNine also made the news for being arrested.

According to Collin County records, the 30-year-old rapper—born Markies Deandre Conway—was arrested on Thursday, May 26, after Collin County, Texas Sheriff’s Office apprehended Beezy just a day after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest, citing ‘bond held insufficient’.

A bond being deemed insufficient means a judge can order for someone to be rearrested and put back in jail.

CHARGES AGAINST Yella Beezy AND ARRESTS

This is just the latest incident for the rapper as back in November 2021 Beezy was arrested and charged with felony sexual assault, felony abandoning or endangering a child and slapped with a misdemeanour for ‘unlawful carrying a weapon’. Following that arrest, he was released on a $57,500 bond.

Since his most recent arrest, the rapper shared a comment via his Instagram story in which he called his bond being raised to $1m “some unheard of s**t”.

He said: “I got arrested for a ticket and the D.A went off my bond and raised it to £1,000,000 (some unheard of s**t) same case I been fighting that’s about to get dropped but the “system” prolonging it in hopes to catch me in some so they can stick anything on me. But that case about to get DISMISSED ain’t no second charge!!!! Where do y’all get y’all information from?”

Collin County police have been approached by HITC for a comment.

Yella Beezy DENIES ACCUSATIONS

Following his arrest in November – where claims had been made he had raped a woman in April 2021 – the rapper denied the allegations in a video posted on Instagram.

“Y’all just gotta stop playing on my name, you know what I’m saying?” he began. “I was arrested on false allegations. I was arrested before I was even questioned and I knew about anything that was going on, but it’s false allegations.

“Everybody that knows me knows that I’m not pressed over sex or anything of that nature. I ain’t no aggressive person, like, that don’t even fit me, at all.”

Beezy, who found fame with his 2018 mixtape Ain’t No Goin’ Bacc that reached No. 24 on the Billboard 200 chart, also previously addressed the child endangerment charges against him saying he would “never harm [his] kids or put them in any type of danger”.

The father-of-two went on to say: “The child endangerment sure doesn’t feel right coming out my mouth ’cause everybody knows I would never harm my kids or put them in any type of danger. I die for my kids.

“So, the child endangerment doesn’t have anything to do with anything sexual, for the people who can’t understand…It’s something that happened when they came and arrested me.”

Beezy continued: “But I can’t really speak on a lot of the stuff. It ain’t got nothing to do with my baby momma. It ain’t got nothing to do with none of that. All the false narratives. They came and arrested me, but I can’t really speak on a lot of the stuff ’cause my lawyers advised me not to, but I just had to speak out because people got stuff misconstrued.”
