Who Is Joshua Danehower?

Danehower, who is a family of acquaintances, was arrested Tuesday night by the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority at Dulles International Airport, where he works for FedEx and reports to Captain Jeff Hunt. Danehower to a tip led officer.

Heather Campbell Glyer called 911 stating she had “heard a loud noise and shot her husband,” according to the authorities.

According to authorities, Glyer was shot while sleeping in his bed. Police radio communications state that his wife and kids were present.

Glyer established the charitable donation website DonorSee and campaigned to erect a girls’ school in Malawi, an African nation.

Joshua Danehower was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree murder and felony firearm use. His detention was without bond.

Danehower was mentioned as a potential suspect by detectives after being the subject of interviews, according to the police. No details on a potential reason were immediately made public.

Police added that Danehower, an airport employee, appeared to have committed the murder alone.

Glyer’s wife and two young children were present at the house and Glyer was shot when they were both sounds sleeping in bed.

No evidence connecting Danehower to the shooting has been made public by the police. It’s still early in the probe, according to Hunt.

Police arrived at the Glyers’ home on Bolton Village Court just before 3 a.m. on June 24 in response to a report of a shooting. When the police arrived, Glyer was already dead.

In the days following the shooting, Danehower surfaced as a suspect, according to Hunt. When he was detained by airport authorities, Danehower was en route to work at FedEx at Dulles International Airport.

After Danehower was taken into custody on Tuesday night, police searched his home.
