Ishowspeed, real name Darren Watkins Jr., was handcuffed live on camera by Cincinnati police. He was detained by the police in front of his audience. His friend tried to videotape him being taken away by police but was told to put the camera down.

Is Ishowspeed In Jail After Apparent Arrest in Ohio?
All of his actions were a part of his streaming which people claim was just a prank call. While many people say that he called the real cops, some said they were fake cops he called. In fact, people said it was his friends.
However, after some time, there was another video where the officers handcuffing him from Cincinnati Police Department. Rumors said the cops went to his home after the call and found that he was faking it.
As a result, people think that he was arrested for swatting in Ohio.
However, some fans said that there is more to the story. They argued that the streamer had not called any emergency service or the real cops. He was just pulling pranks but not on real cops.
While many people have questions regarding the incident, there is a possibility that he was swatted by someone else. For example, a hacker can locate a victim’s address via IP address, or they may know the victim’s identity and location and make an anonymous 911 call to report a false emergency.

On his live stream, the cops detained Ohio rapper and Youtuber Darren Watkins Jr., also known as Ishowspeed. Despite giving them the wrong address when he prank-called the police, he was amused to see them at his door.
Besides, netizens were furious as to why they would handcuff a minor for a prank call. They said he should not be arrested even though he may have swatted.
Additionally, they argue that everyone has the right to click pictures or videos, and the police officers forcing them to shut down the filming was against the law.
Nonetheless, anyone caught swatting could be charged with serious offenses, including federal charges for making abusive 911 calls, making false alarms or reports, and subsequently using telecommunications without authorization.
