Who Is Edith Frayne From Toronto?

Edith Frayne is 45 years old felon from Toronto who has been arrested for allegedly pushing a 39 years old woman onto the subway tracks, nearly causing her death.

Police arrested Edith Frayne, at the Finch GO Station Monday evening.

The force is thanking the public for the tips they received and the Toronto Transit Commission for their help with the investigation.

45 years old Edith Frayne pushed a 39 years old woman at Yonge and Bloor subway station for no apparent provocation or motive.

The victim luckily pressed herself against the platform as the train passed the station and thus managed to escape from critical injuries.

After pushing the victim to her near death, the suspect, Edith Frayne ran away from the crime scene but authorities were able to publish or release her captured photo from CCTV recordings.

Edith pushed her victim onto the rail tracks of the westbound platform and fled the scene.

Police authorities were called to the scene, the victim was rushed to the nearby hospital where she is being treated for her injuries.

A CCTV captured image of the suspect was quickly released by the investigation unit and thanks to the anonymous tips laid off by the general public and other passengers, the felon was quickly arrested.

The arrest was made at around 6:18 pm from the North York region of Finch GO Station.

The apparent motive behind the assault is yet to be known and the arrested individual is being questioned for the crime.
