One Dead, 4 hospitalized After Harrisburg Shooting

On January 28, 2024, a shooting occurred in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, leaving one person dead and four others injured. The incident took place around 2 p.m. in the area of the 2400 block of Duke Street and the alley behind it, along with the intersecting streets.

 

Once police arrived, two adult male victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were then transported to local hospitals for emergency treatment.

Officers confirmed one of the victims was listed to be in critical condition, and the other was listed as being in stable condition.

 

A short time later, two additional gunshot victims arrived at a local hospital, one adult male and one juvenile male; both of the later victims were reported to be in stable condition, police stated.

 

The Harrisburg Bureau of Police is currently investigating the shooting. The victim’s identity has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
