Authorities in Rockdale County are on the lookout for the assailant of Atlanta rapper Trouble. Jamichael Jones, 33, has been named as the suspect.
The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Department has issued an arrest warrant for Jamichael Jones, a 33-year-old Atlanta man sought in connection with the death of Atlanta rapper Trouble. However, the culprit has yet to be apprehended.
According to authorities, 34-year-old rapper Trouble was shot several times while driving home from work on Saturday night. However, no official statement has been issued by authorities indicating a possible suspect or the motive for the murder.
The artist, whose name was Mariel Semonte Orr, was discovered by Rockdale County Sheriff’s deputies who were called to the scene of a shooting in the nearby town of Conyers around 3:20 a.m. Sunday morning. Orr was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Officials said the rapper was visiting a woman at the apartment complex where she lived when he was allegedly shot once in the chest by another man, Jamichael Jones, 33.
“It was a domestic situation,” Jedidia Canty, the public information officer for the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office, said in a press conference.
