Harry Kane’s arrest has now been the talk of the town. Nevertheless, it is not for any kind of assault or criminal offense for us. Let’s see what happened.
Harry Edward Kane MBE is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and captains the England national team. Regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, Kane is known for his prolific goalscoring record and ability to link play.
Moves by FIFA officials to hold the World Cup in Qatar sparked anger and concern among queer activists, players and fans since 2010. While reports into the mistreatment of migrant construction workers, where more than two million labourers work in conditioners akin to indentured servitude, fanned further outrage.
Many of these issues were the topic of Tuesday’s 30-minute briefing, and Kane signalled that he plans to enlist the help of teammates Hugo Lloris and Heung-Min Son, the national captains of France and South Korea respectively.
“I know for sure that the other lads will be happy to be talking about it, too,” Kane continued. “Hopefully we can make a real impact.”
Kane stressed that it wasn’t the England team’s call to hold the World Cup in Qatar, a decision that he has some misgivings about.
“It’s a hard question to answer, if I am being totally honest,” the Three Lions captain said. “It wasn’t our decision, it was the decision of FIFA.
Why Was Harry Kane Arrested Over Assault?
No, Harry Kane was not arrested over the assault. It is a part of a joke used by the netizens after he got chose to support the LGBTQIA community by wearing a rainbow armband.
Professional footballer and England captain Harry Kane has thrown his weight behind LGBT+ fans ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He has been constant with it and talked about how he wore it despite the criticism in Germany during the Euros.
As 2022 marks the year of the Fifa World Cup which is all set to be held in Qatar, several questions arise in the minds of football lovers. Will Harry put on the pride armband in the homophobic middle-eastern country as well? Observing his current enthusiasm for promoting the community, he is likely to go against all the odds and wear it anyway.
The star striker joined fellow football captains and players on Tuesday (22 March) to “shine a light” on the litany of human rights issues in the Gulf nation.
“It is something I will try to do,” he said at a briefing at St George’s Park in Staffordshire, The Mirror reported. “I think that will send out a bigger and more powerful message.
“It is part of the responsibility of a team captain. It is important to talk about these things and not just hide away from them.”
In Qatar, which will host the tournament in November and December this year, homosexuality is an imprisonable offence. Qatar also runs Sharia courts, where it is technically possible that queer Muslim men could be handed a death sentence.
However, a post is going viral on social media where a Qatar spokesperson says whoever will lift the LGBTQIA flag during the world cup, will be jailed for 7 to 11 years. he further adds as the host is an Islamic nation, their culture and beliefs need to be respected.
There can now be conflicting opinions on this. It is true that football is for everyone and no one can impose a school of thought on someone else, but again visiting a country that has a certain culture, needs to be respected, for the time you are there. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and now it is with great curiosity that people are looking forward to Harry’s next move. Will he be arrested for using the armband? we will have to wait and watch.
I was proud to wear the LGBTQ+ armband a few weeks ago for Pride month as I also did against the same opponents Germany during the Euros. The armband from last summer is on display at @museumoflondon which is free to enter. Football is a game for everyone. pic.twitter.com/qa2AwqnAIY

Harry Kayne Barnet London Location And Premier League Player Charges
Shaquile Coulthirst of Barnet recently received the League Two Player of the Month honor. The former Spurs forward chats to Sky Sports about his recent goal-scoring form, how Harry Kane inspires him, and how he’s working to support other young players who want to succeed in the game.
The recent news about Harry in London is about inspiring the new league player. While the intrigue around if the premiere league players actually got arrested becomes strong, the story is completely different.
Can’t wait for the virtue signalling Lineker & Neville to respond to this if at all while they are in Qatar 😇 pic.twitter.com/n5UhdREFHV

For now, the only concern is if the footballer will still promote the LGBTQIA community in the upcoming world cup, and if he does, will the Qatar government arrest him for that?
Twitter’s current reaction is almost like they are more interested in the drama than the real game this year. Further, as far as other premier league players are concerned, their arrest has been connected with the captain’s possible detention in a foreign land.
