Donald A. Pierce, unmerited Assault on an 82-year-old Portland man who was the objective of an unwarranted assault at a bus station close to Portland State University on June 25, has died, as per police on Tuesday.
The victim, 82, died in the medical clinic on Thursday night and was controlled by manslaughter by soft injury after an examination by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Portland Police Bureau was notified that the victim, Donald A. Pierce, 82, died at the hospital Thursday night. An autopsy was conducted by the Medical Examiner’s Office and his death determined to be a homicide by blunt trauma. The victim’s family provided the attached photograph for public release, but is asking for privacy and is declining interview requests.
Donald died of gruff power wounds on July 7, fourteen days after he and 88-year-old Edward Lichtenstein were battered close to Southwest fifth Avenue and Hall Street.
Who Is Keffer J. White?
On Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 8:29p.m., Central Precinct officers and a sergeant were on a call in the area of Southwest 5th Avenue and Southwest Hall Street when they came across an assault in progress.
The officers immediately arrested the suspect and summoned paramedics to assist the victims. They were transported to a hospital by ambulance.
Officials from Portland captured 29-year-old Keffer White and answered an irrelevant protest in the local when they found the Assault. As per police, White constantly struck and kicked the two people after bringing down them.

As per specialists, further charges are forthcoming; another victim, Liechtenstein, was dealt with and released from the emergency clinic. As court records indicate, White’s next court appearance is booked for July 15.
According to the DA’s office, a group of people was waiting for the bus in the area of Southwest 5th Avenue and Southwest Hall Street. Witness reports and video surveillance allegedly showed that White approached the group and began talking to them.
When they did not respond, he began to yell and made fun of them for being elderly. White became increasingly aggressive. He approached one man in the group, Edward Lichenstein, 88, and began attacking him, including headbutting him and shoving him to the ground.
White then turned to another person in the group, Donald Pierce, 83, who was holding a cane for balance and pushed him into the street and onto the ground. Once on the ground White kicked Pierce in the head and face area several times. White subsequently continued attacking Lichtenstein who was attempting to get away. Pierce also attempted to get up and White returned and attacked him again by kicking him in his head.
As per court documents obtained by KOIN 6 News, the culprit was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time. Previously, he was convicted of assaulting a police officer, and at the time of his arrest for the stolen car, he had a protective order against him in January 2022.

After allegedly attacking the two aged males, the suspected assailant, Keffer White, is in jail and charged with four prices, along with two counts of Attempted Murder inside the First Degree and one offense of Assault inside the First Degree, which relies on Assault inside the Second Degree. More prices are pretty attainable.
Witnesses and video evidence show the suspect attacked the two men without provocation and repeatedly punched and kicked both of them, including after they fell to the ground.
Assault detectives responded and investigated. They booked Keffer J. White, 29, into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Assault in the Second Degree (2 counts) and an outstanding warrant. The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case and additional charges are possible.
Prosecutors charged the culprit with two prices of tried murder and two counts of first and second-degree Assault sooner than Pierce’s lack of life. On July 6, Keffer pled not accountable to all allegations, primarily based on courtroom paperwork.
According to authorities, Liechtenstein was dealt with and discharged from the hospital, and extra prices are pending.
