On the eve of NBA free agency, which was set to include him landing a massive payday, Hornets forward Miles Bridges has been arrested for felony domestic violence, according to TMZ.

NBA star Miles Bridges was arrested for felony domestic violence in Los Angeles on Wednesday, TMZ Sports has learned.
The 24-year-old forward — who most recently played for the Charlotte Hornets — turned himself in to a local jail regarding an alleged physical altercation that happened on Tuesday.
Miles Emmanuel Bridges is a professional US-based basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
The Los Angeles Clippers chose the 24-year-old young player with the 12th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, but on draft night, he was traded to the Charlotte Hornets.

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was arrested Wednesday on a felony, according to Los Angeles Police Department records. A spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed that Bridges was arrested on a warrant, but did not provide further details, per the Los Angeles Times. The 24-year-old was released after posting a $130,000 bail, and his next court date is set for July 20 in Los Angeles.

Bridges was the Hornets’ leading scorer last season, averaging 20.2 points, seven rebounds and 3.8 assists in 80 games. He was a key piece in helping the Hornets secure a spot in the play-in round ahead of the playoffs, but the Hornets missed the playoffs for the sixth straight season. He was 12th overall pick in 2018 out of Michigan State, and has increased his production in a bigger role with the Hornets each season.
According to a story from TMZ Sports, the NBA player surrendered himself to police on Tuesday after an alleged physical fight with a woman.

After the woman and Miles incident, the woman required medical assistance. According to TMZ, the basketball player had already left when the police department arrived on the spot.
The former Hornet was coming off a breakthrough 2021–2022 season when the NBA star was arrested on Wednesday.
