Sandra was the suspect in the case; however, she was not found guilty of the murder, so she is a free woman, but she has not stopped pointing toward her son for the murder. The case has received wide media and public attention.
However, Andrea Miller – a mother, residing in Maypearl, Ellis County, Texas – remains extremely close to Sandra. She never once believed that the woman who gave birth to her was behind Jon’s murder, so when the verdict of not guilty was announced, she breathed a huge sigh of relief.
Now, though, we should mention that this mother-daughter duo completely believes that Wesley was behind the heinous crime, so they don’t communicate with him anymore.
Who Was Sandra Garner and What did she do?
Sandra Louise Garner, originally from Maypearl, Ellis County, was a mother of two children when she worked for a shipping company in Paris, Texas. She met Jon Garner there and fell in love with him despite the fact that he was 13 years younger than her. Two years later, she married Jon. It was her third marriage after the failure of the first two.
Jon took over as the father figure for Sandra’s two children, Andrea and Wesley. He became the sole breadwinner for the family after Sandra was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The couple stayed married for eighteen years before the incident took place.
On the eve of Sandra and Jon’s anniversary on January 2, 2022, Jon Garner was shot thrice in his sleep. According to reports, Sandra called the police soon after, revealing that she woke up to the sound of gunshots and started screaming. A masked perpetrator asked her to stay shut at gunpoint and made her give $18,000 in cash from the couple’s bedroom locker. After he left, Sandra called the police.
Who Are Sandra Garner’s Children?
Sandra Garner is the mother of two – Wesley Miller and Andrea Miller – both from her previous marriage. When she and her third husband, Jon Garner, tied the knot, he tried to become a father figure to both, being closer to Wesley than Andrea.
In fact, Andrea didn’t even like Jon much until she noticed how much he loved and cared for her mother after her 2014 Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. It was only after that did Andrea learn to appreciate him.
Unfortunately, all this changed on January 2, 2018. Their whole world turned upside down after Jon was slain in his sleep. Sandra told the investigators about a masked intruder killing him.
But, Wesley immediately pointed the finger at his mother, saying how she almost always had a gun on her being. He then questioned her story, asking if there was an intruder, how come the dogs didn’t bark.
People will definitely get insight into Wesley’s brain and why he believes his own mother was behind the heinous crime. He pointed the investigation officers in directions in a specific manner that make him also a suspect of the crime.
Where Are Sandra And Wesley Now?
Sandra and Wesley both are living their life as free people. They both were not found guilty in court for the murder. Sandra was under suspicion of the murder because her gun was used for the crime.
However, she had no intention and no advantage in taking her husband’s life because he was the one who was taking care of her poor health. Her attorney proved her innocent in the court and walked free.
But still, they pointed a finger at Wesley, but there was no evidence to support this claim in any manner. As of now, mother and son are not on good terms.
