Fairfax County Teacher: Who Is Kristine Knizner? Arrested On Child Sexual Assault Charges

28-years-old Irvin Middle School teacher Kristine Knizner of Fairfax County Teacher was arrested on child porn charges

Kristine Knizner, of Springfield, is facing two felonies following an investigation that began with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). At the time of her arrest, Knizner was a teacher at Irving Middle School in Springfield and before that was a teacher at Key Middle School in Franconia.

According to her Facebook bio, she also works at Extended Day Services. Before coming to Irving Middle School, she worked at Kiddie Academy of South Fayette.

She was also a long-term substitute teacher at St Margaret of Scotland School. Knizner has also gained a wealth of experience by working at a number of schools. Further, Knizner also worked for the Ringgold School District, where she served in a variety of capacities.

People are now concerned about Knizner’s imprisonment, as the middle school teacher has been arrested and charged with two felonies linked to the possession of inappropriate photographs.

Who Is Kristine Knizner From Irving Middle School?

A 28-year-old Kristine Knizner has been teaching at Irving Middle School since August of this year.

Kristine has also worked as a substitute teacher at Chartiers Valley School District, Camp Invention Inc, Kiddie Academy, Saint Margaret of Scotland, Trinity Area School District, and South Fayette Township School District, among others.

 

Kristine received her bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University in 2016.

She began her teaching career after working as a lifeguard at the American pool from May 2011 until September 2012. Meanwhile, while being imprisoned and suspected of spreading photographs, she is being punished for searching through her social media accounts.

 

Fairfax County Teacher Kristine Knizner Arrested On Child Sexual Assault Charges

According to sources, Kristine Knizer was arrested and charged with two felonies. The investigation began on May 17 after investigators from our Major Crimes Bureau’s Cyber/Child Exploitation Squad received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

A Snapchat account associated with a Fairfax County IP address has child sexual assault content, according to NCMEC.

After executing a search warrant at the home, detectives identified Kristine Knizner of Springfield as the only occupant.

The teacher was charged with two heinous offenses: possession of child pornography and possession of electronic devices used to record the pornographic scenario.

The investigation began when the NCMEC reported to Fairfax County police that a person with a Snapchat account with an IP address in Fairfax County was in possession of child sex abuse material, police said.

Knizner was arrested and taken to the Adult Detention Center and released on a $2,000 unsecured bond. She was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography

Knizner did not immediately respond to a request for comment and no attorney is listed for her in court records. Fairfax County schools wrote in a letter to parents that Knizner has been placed on leave.

Police say the victims do not appear to be Knizner’s students.
